  : On first arriving at the apartment it had great kerb appeal. Having been there a couple of days you realise although very happy with it it probably needs a refurb

  : The property was well furnished and super clean on arrival - but then it should have been so for the fee that was charged for cleaning. The apartment is spacious and the cleanliness applies to all the communal facilities.
  : Several things need maintenance. The air con just blew air around without cooling it. It also switched itself on during the night/early morning. The front door needed some attention from a carpenter. The toaster only worked when you kept you finger on it. The microwave turntable did not turn and the door surround kept falling off. The plug for the washbasin in the main bedroom needs replacing. All of this is difficult for cleaning staff to pick up. The wifi was turned off 24hours before I left. 2 of the windows do not have block out lining - they need it. I expected to get a harbour facing room and asked the agents twice whether this was a harbour facing room - twice I was assured that it was. Simple solution is to include the words North facing or whatever in the description. I know this works best as I have been in the holiday accommodation business for 40 years.
