On the slopes of Devil’s Peak this charming guest house offers a tranquil garden with a seasonal pool. Built in 1901 Carmichael is a well restored example of Victorian Cape architecture. Fitted with elegant wooden floors all rooms are equipped with satellite TV and a mini-bar. Each comes with a work desk and a private bathroom.

Tea/coffee makers are provided. Guests can enjoy a cup of tea in the Carmichael’s lounge with its original Victorian fireplace. A full English breakfast and continental buffet are served in the sunny bistro. Picnic baskets and light lunches are available on request.
