  : The owner was arrogant. We had booked 3 rooms. I called her at 20.00 on the first night when the city had a power failure. She was rude when I asked if there were candles as a back up. Equally there was no offer to assist when I said that the garage refused to open. Such poor service and arrogance because she was aware of the problem.Rooms are small and mosquitoes troubled. In darkness when lights go off, no candles, only yogurt and cereal for breakfast, get locked in as garage does not open, so cant even buy supper. Pebbles fall from ceiling onto pillow in room 3, and told nothing can be done. Batteries flat in aircon remote and have to sleep in extreme heat. Were frightened into paying R100 a night for parking, by being told that a guest had a break in while parked outside only to observe that all the neighbors parked outside with no problems. When the lights were out, one of our cars was outside, but no refund. We were given 2 remotes for 2 cars, one didn't work and was only replaced on the 3rd day. We wanted a cancelation after the first night when we realized that the place was not suitable, but were refused. No one is available on the premises after 16.00, and the owner is not helpful so its frightening. The house is in a narrow , steep street which adds to the inconvenience. Breakfast is absolutely basic. For the 1st two mornings we were not catered for as we don't eat beef or pork. Just eggs, toast and cereal. No gas stove, so no coffee or eggs on day one. Apparently due to power cuts the chicken had gone off, but not the beef sausage. I also only spoke to the owner on the phone, made no attempt to introduce herself or welcome the guests.

  : Awesome room with a beautiful view. I was very comfortable in the room. The staff were very friendly and helpful
  : For the price I paid, I would have expected a better breakfast offering. No fruit or cheeses, just a few cereals in jars and yoghurt. It didn't look appealing and I didn't try it. I opted for scrambled eggs on toast which was fine. In a similar hotel, our breakfast was spectacular. A coffee machine in the room would have made a big difference, again this has become the norm in hotels that I stay in and at a cheaper price per night.No plug point for the hairdryer with a mirror view

  : Few minor issues with the room requiring a bit of maintenance.Towels were not replaced daily.Breakfast was very basic, just needs a bit more choice and variety.
